Case Converter

The result updates as you type so you can compare options side by side. It is ideal when you are naming identifiers, converting API field names, formatting titles for a page, or standardizing a list of strings. The tool runs locally in your browser, so nothing you enter is sent anywhere. Programming languages and teams each settle on a naming convention, and moving a name from one style to another by hand is exactly the kind of mechanical edit where a typo slips through. The common targets are upper case with underscores for constants, all lower case for the loose identifiers, camel case and pascal case for variables, functions, and types, snake case for many file and database conventions, kebab case for URLs and CSS classes, plus title and sentence case for headings and copy. The underlying transformation is mechanical: the words have to be identified, their boundaries normalised, then rejoined with the separator and capitalisation the target style demands. A case converter is most valuable when you are matching the style of an existing codebase, where a field that arrives as snake case over the wire must become camel case in the client object, or when you are naming a batch of things and want them consistent. The browser side operation also keeps pasted data local, which matters when the strings are internal identifiers you would rather not upload.
